● rolul populaţiilor/speciilor de organisme zooplanctonice ca unităţii furnizatoare de resurse şi servicii   la nivel ecosistemic,

● impactul amenajărilor hidrorehnice pentru navigaţie a braţelor fluviale asupra zoocenozei planctonice)

● rolul comunităţii zooplanctonice în structura biocenotică a canalului Dunăre-Marea Neagră.

- Efectuarea primelor cercetări din România ce vizează producţia şi productivitatea copepodelor planctonice, respiraţia şi consumul acestora, turnoverul, eficienţa lor ecologică, pe nivele trofice, la nivelul comunităţii zooplanctonice, a procesului de succesiune ecologică, în condiţiile impactului produs de eutrofizare.
